Home for the Holiday’s, Dining Room

Seasons greeting to all! Today I am sharing my last Home for the Holiday’s series! This year we did not put up a big tree, so we’ve placed the gifts on the lower shelf of the hutch. I think it adds a wonderful touch to this area. We also placed some gifts on the gallery shelf wall and under the small tree on the buffet.

Everything looks very festive in our home right now! We are preparing to have a small dinner gather for Christmas Eve! I’m excited to be hosting this year! I haven’t set the table yet but you will see my new placemats I purchased at Kohl’s. I believe they will go well with my Heritage Collection dishware.

Dining Room

I’ve had this wreath since 2018. I like to change it out each year. First year we put it above our bed and I added a big red bow! Last year I added some sugar fruit, extra greenery and lights! This year I added some faux red berry stems, red birds, lights and some silver ornaments. It’s fun to give it a different look just by adding different ornaments!

2021

I placed a couple of the red cardinals on the lantern, which was from my fall decor.

I love using this vintage coffee pot to decorate with. You will see some keys on the silver platter and the red heart ornament on the wall. Yes Dale has the key to my heart! Ha-ha!

This is a lighted tree and I added some sweet gum pods from my fall decor to the tree. Their the perfect size for this tree and adds a natural element. Dale’s favorite ornaments are under this tree, gingerbread ornaments, from his children when they were young.

This is such a fun mirror to decorate with too! It adds a little reflection of the Christmas tree.

Gallery Wall Vignettes’

“For unto us a child is born, Unto us a son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonder, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

We hope your holiday season is full of peace, joy and happiness. The Phillips
