Home for the Holiday’s, Master Suite

Seasons greeting! For the next two weeks (Winter Break) I am looking forward to sleeping in a little, sipping tea or coffee and taking some time to read. I’ve already got a couple of books lined up! It would be nice! If I could finish reading a book for once! Yes that’s my goal! Ha-ha!

I tend to keep our bedroom serene. We always make up the bed every morning and try to keep the room clutter free. Now if only I could put my shoes away! I know Dale would appreciate that very much! When it comes to decorating our bedroom for Christmas I like to keep it simple.

My bedside dresser I used the same fall faux flowers but changed the vase and used less greenery. I still have the same milk glass pedestal with the pinecone from my fall decor.

I love to keep seasonal magazines on my bedside table as well.

The corner wall next to my bedside table, I hung up one of my mirror starburst star and the larger one is above Dale’s bedside table. I purchased these at TJ Maxx a few years ago and I think they are fun to decorate with!

This Lampoon’s coffee mug was a gift from Dale’s cousin, whom we visited last year for Christmas. Was she trying to tell him something? Ha-ha!

I purposely messed up the bed for this picture! Ha-ha! This is as messy as you will ever see it!

The snowflake pillow I purchased at Target at the dollar section years ago.

I used my dried zinnias for garland and simply tied two white ribbons on the upper corners.

Vintage Dresser

One of my favorite places to change out seasonally is our vintage dresser. This year I’m using silver & gold ornaments. The silver mercury tree I’ve had for years and love placing it at different places around the house each year.

Vintage hutch Christmas decor over the years.

I adore these black & silver glitter bottle trees, I’ve had for years. They compliment the floral print above the dresser.

  1. As always you two keep the Christmas Spirit alive by decorating and going the “extra mile” by taking pictures that shows what we can do to enhance our “tiny home on wheels.” Love all you do….Merry Christmas and enjoy some quiet time as you reflect on the REAL reason for this season.
    God Bless!
