Over a year ago Dale and I did something spontaneous! We had Christmas in Tennessee! It was absolutely wonderful! We were surprised to wake up to a little SNOW on Christmas day! Unforgettable!
This year we’ll be, “Home for the Holidays!” I’ve started my winter home decor and wanted to share with you what I’ve done so far. What about you? Will you be home for the holidays or will you be traveling?
Christmas in Tennessee
Franklin Tennessee
For my winter decor, I had to include some zinnias! The zinnias from my summer garden have decided to present themselves again! We’ve had regular rain and perfect temperatures and they are loving it! This vignette on my kitchen counter, I simply tied a red ribbon around the lampshade and put up the “believe” sign, a gift from my daughter. The small floral arrangement compliments it all!
Every Christmas I bring out my Better Homes & Gardens Heritage Collection. We use them as everyday plates until January.

My Mud Pie Falala apron comes out and is displayed on my kitchen hook, which I do use because I’m a messy cook.
Sitting on my window sill is this beautiful red Calandiva plant! Purchased at a shop in Rosenberg, TX Portilla Home & Garden.
If you are ever in Rosenberg, TX do check out this store. They always have lovely plants and carry beautiful pieces of furniture.

While there at the shop I took this picture, as you can see they have the most beautiful plants on display.
I displayed my santa salt & pepper shaker along this potted plant, which speaks Christmas!

Candle burning in my kitchen is LYRD Frosted Balsam from Avon. Smells like winter!
This year we look forward to staying home for the holidays and drinking some hot chocolate & watching Christmas movies!

I love all the festive pops of red in your holiday home, Elizabeth, they’re all so pretty! I can’t believe you still have zinnias – that is so cool and your poinsettias are just gorgeous too! Love your generous mug filled with hot cocoa. I swear it’s one of my favorite life luxuries! Hugs, CoCo
