This week has been a tough week. My family is morning the loss of a loved one, my Aunt Sylvia. My mother’s sister. She had covid and we all thought she would pull through. My aunt was only 5 years older than I and I always thought she was the coolest aunt! Young and full of life! She is definitely going to be missed by her children, grandchildren and the rest of the family.
With all this, I had a busy weird week! When I finally had a moment, I took the time to be good to myself and made myself a vanilla latte. I just needed to retreat for a time and breathe. I realize more now than ever, it’s so important to be kind to others, to love one another and to cherish the time we have.
“We had a wonderful aunt, One who never really grew old; Her smile was made of sunshine, And her heart was solid gold.” – Author unknown
So very sorry for your loss! We too are struggling with family members who are trying so very hard to recover from Covid. It’s puzzling to us that Covid is not really in the forefront now but there are many we know and love who are fighting hard to recover from it. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. (((Hugs)))
