It’s a SURPRISE! Yes! A surprise birthday party! I can’t believe it! I’m celebrating my 60TH, this year, this month!! My family did a good job hiding it from me, because I was TOTALLY NOT EXPECTING IT! Believe me! It isn’t easy hiding things from me! Ha-ha! The day was filled with balloons, flowers, lots of flowers and on the menu, fajitas with all the fixings and a beautiful cake! I have to give a lot of credit to my two daughters for setting up, while Dale kept me away! They did a wonderful job, along with my two son in law’s. The weather was perfect! We all hung out, outdoors, my siblings with their spouses and my mother, grandchildren and some close friends, while music played in the background. It was a lovely day. There is nothing better then having a meal with loved ones! I feel so very blessed to be able to get together again, with my family! Like most, I’m pretty sure we all miss our gatherings! You know?! That was the best gift for me! π
My daughter’s Irene & Mary.
Let me introduce you to my mother Geneva, who gave birth to me sixty years ago. She is in her 80’s and I think she is very stylish! She’s wearing pink and she looks beautiful.
Isn’t this cake beautiful! It was delicious too!
Flower arrangements made by Irene & Mary for the tables.
I love displaying plants or flowers on my kitchen window sill.
My mother gave me these beautiful flowers. I look forward to using the vase for future floral arrangements too!
The vintage dishes displayed are Petite Flora. We found them at an antique shop years ago. So glad I did not hesitate to purchase these. I call them my breakfast plates because we use them often for breakfast.
Scented lavender at the bottom of hutch, from my granddaughter.

I made these two small flower arrangements, with the birthday flowers I received.

“A rose can never be a sunflower, and a sunflower can never be a rose. All flowers are beautiful in their own way, and that’s like women too.” – Miranda Kerr
Lovely, lovely party and happy 60th! Your daughters and mother are all beautiful.

Hello Elizabeth.. ..what a beautiful birthday day you had! Dale had told me about it, I truly wish I could have been there too! We had planned my mother in law’s birthday on the same exact day, if not for that, I would have been there to celebrate your birthday! β€οΈGod Bless my friend π

What “Treasured DNA” you ladies share from Geneva to Elizabeth then to Irene and Mary, all you women have one gene in common….beauty!
The day looked festive, decorations were “spot on,” cake design “chic” and flowers arrangements were “photo pretty.” I know the day was celebrated with love and admiration from dawn to dusk.
Congratulations Elizabeth to the “Serene and Sexy Sixties!”
