Isn’t there something about Spring? For me! I just want to dismantle everything, wipe all the shelves and dust off all of last seasons stuff away! Ha-ha! Even our eating habits change this time of year! I crave for lighter colorful meals! I look forward to seeing the Texas Wildflowers! You know what?! Spring is my favorite season! 😉
I always make a point to search out for artwork at antique shops. We found this painting years ago. You might remember, I had this painting in the guest bedroom. It’s nice to change things up, with what you have, to give a fresh new look to your home decor!
Painting in the guest bedroom.
Bunnies here & there! Another painting, I created during the pandemic.
Homemade bread! Purchased at the farmers market in La Grange, Texas. It was wonderful! In January, I participated in a challenge (create 30 paintings in 90 days.) The mini pastel painting you see was from that challenge. I did not make the 30 paintings, but I’m glad I tried! Happy to say this painting has a new home, given to a dear friend of mine.

Pinkladies, Pink Evening Primrose, Showy Evening Primrose, Mexican Primrose, Buttercups, these are just a few of the names for these beautiful pink flowers.
Vicia Villas, Vetch, purple flowers.
Bluebonnets my favorite!
I highly recommend (Everyday Monet by Aileen Bordman) it’s a wonderful read and very inspirational!
Pastel painting inspired from Monet’s Tulips painting.
Hopefully this post has inspired you to do some home rearranging! Maybe get some fresh air and enjoy your surroundings! Maybe even inspired you to make a wonderful colorful salad!
“Spring won’t let me stay in this house any longer! I must get out and breath the air deeply again. – Gustav Mahler
