Guest Bedroom Spring 2019

Hello!! I hope all is well with everyone! I’m popping in to finally show you the guest bedroom spring decor and the finished headboard! We are getting the room ready for guest this spring! My oldest daughter is getting married this month and she will be staying here the night before the wedding. Then my youngest daughter and my son in law will be staying here that Saturday on the wedding day. We are so excited and ready for a celebration! I will not be posting for the rest of this month but should be back sometime in April! Just an FYI. 😉

My two favorites for this room is the headboard and the wall shelf! These items were someones curb side trash and we pick them up! Ha-ha! The wrought iron piece, originally was a bench. Now a headboard! The shelf was someones book shelf and now a wall shelf! Enjoy the tour!

We install the painted wrought iron piece to the wall in November. We had some spare wood to complete the look.
Adding the wood to both sides and underneath the iron piece balances it with the bed.
Entry to the guest room. I’ve had this small table for years and it goes perfect here for guest to put some of their items. In the background, mother of the bride dress hanging on the door!
The white curtains you see were once used in the master bedroom. Happy I can re-use them!

All the pictures you see I’ve purchased at antique stores, the painting above the bed I got a deal for $40.00. The frame was red oak, I painted it white.

Framed this free printable.
Small collection of prints, child with pets.
The shelf was originally yellow pine wood, I painted it white.
Small collection of Holly Hobbie figurines, I’ve collected over the years.
Small round table fits perfectly in this corner, also a great find at a thrift store.

Be blessed! Till next time! Elizabeth
