Hello September! I ended the month of August, fall cleaning my home! Not sure what came over me! I felt the need to clean and organize and so happy I did! NOW I’m ready for fall! FALL to me is the beginning of gathering with friends and family. Another! It’s relief from our hot summers! Yeah! Fall in Texas we tend to eat our meals alfresco style, which we love to do! One more! I can take a break from my garden! Don’t get me wrong, I love gardening, but it’s work! Ha-ha!
Today I am posting some pictures of my dining room home decor. This fall I plan to keep my decor simple. I’m at the beginning stages and thought I would show you what I’ve done so far.
So enjoy and Happy September!
These beautiful Peruvian lily’s from HEB, speak fall to me!
The bowl of fruit was a gift from my brother. I believe he purchase at a flea market in Houston. Made in Mexico. Perfect fall decor.
Dining room shelves.
Decorating my shelves has always been a challenge for me. Slowly getting the hang of it! I think! 😉 I’m not finish with these shelves, I plan to display pumpkins as soon as they come to my grocery store.
Do you see the white speakers? I will tell more later! I love them!
The fall prints you see on the shelves are free printables from Ann, On Sutton Place. I am always grateful for free stuff! Check her out if you get a chance. Ann’s blog has wonderful recipes and decor tips.
Fall & Winter
Wreath displayed on my gallery wall. I plan to use this wreath for both fall and winter! I thought why not! I plan to add fall decor for now and later add winter elements. I will post later when I’m done. Wreath a TJ Maxx find.
Evening shot of my dining room.
Transitioning to fall still in the works.
